In mid-1990, and for a very short time span,
Tony Barnard's ALL HAT JAZZ held a Saturday
afternoon residency at the Woolahra Hotel
in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. These shots
were taken on the occasion of the very last
gig there on June 30th.
The following night, on their drive home
to Katoomba after the ALL HAT Sunday gig
at the Unity Hall, Rod and his wife Shirley
only just got through before the Great Western
Highway was closed due to heavy snowfalls.
They left for a Victorian holiday, including
an attendance at the BALLARAT BLUES FESTIVAL,
the day after.
